Q1. What is the price per square foot of your homes?
A1. Our “Custom” home are price out very competitively. There are so many variables that go into a custom home design, it is impossible to predict the cost per square foot until the working drawings and material specifications are complete. Homes of the same size can have dramatically differing features and finishes which affects the price.

Q2. What if I don't have a Lot?
A2. We assist many of our clients with the search and purchase of a lot.

Q3. How long does it take to build?
A3. Every home is unique; however, if lot acquisition is not a factor, building time should be between 5-8 months.

Q4. How much time is involved in drawing plans for my home?
A4. The first step is to develop ideas and brainstorm, we get to know more about you and your life style needs. Then a conceptual drawing is created by the architect from those ideas. This part of the process usually takes 3-5 weeks. Next a preliminary bid is prepared. This takes approximately 2 weeks. Finally, the architectural drawings are completed in approximately 2-3 weeks. In total, the process usually takes approximately 7-12 weeks. Then the Permit Review process begins with local municipalities.

Q5. Are Plans costly?
A5. The cost to design a full set of plans (floor plan, electrical plan, exterior elevations, roof plan, plot plan and cabinet details) varies from $1.25 to $2.25 per covered square foot. Covered square foot means all air condition spaces, porches, patios, garages and anything else, which has a roof.

Q6. I thought custom building was only for High dollar homes. Is that true?
A6. No! “Custom” reflects the method of design and construction. The homes come in wide price range and size. During our initial conversations you will get an idea of the variety of styles, sizes and values.
